I agree on Counter Strike but i wasn't a big fan of HL. I liked the first Half-life but wasn't struck on HL2. Maybe its because i didn't play HL2 and the expansions until recently but they didn't really do it for me.
I think its fair to compare it to FF considering its made by the same creator. Personnaly i think final Fantasy has been going downhill for quite a while.
Theres a serious lack of textures on these shots and lighting but this may change nearer release. Graphics aren't everything though. Long as it plays nice.
Just finished Tomb Raider anniversary on the 360 and it was super smooth , no frame problems at all?????
Hmmm. i want it to be good as i love co-op but its getting very mixed previews at the moment. Fingers crossed on this one.
Im not to bothered if the graphics arn't mind blowing as long as the gameplay is good.
Look at Halo1,in my opinion thats a better game than Halo3 even though number 3 has better graphics.
Resistance looks fine and as long as it plays well it will be great. I would rather the developers concentrate on good a.I, physics and things like that then develop the graphics.

I disagree with you on uncharted. Ive been playing it all day and it is a great game. the graphics are very good especially the water but gears still better when it comes to textures and effects. Uncharted seems a little flat on the texture side although its hidden very well. But then gears water isnt as good.
On a whole although i enjoyed Uncharted more as a game i think gears takes it on the graphics still.

I have used the video download service a few times and found it fine. My nearest video shop is 10 miles away so the service is much welcomed. Hopefully more varied movies will appear like pans labyrith..

Makes sense. Quicker and easier to port from Ps3 to 360 rather than the other way round. Hopefully bad ports will be a thing of the past.... we hope.

Yeah Xbox owners have fanboys too. But i have to admit this site seems to be getting more vocal ones on the Sony side. Maybe its the waiting that is making them angry.
This is a bit silly really as Gears isnt even a FPS. There different sorts of games.
Sales wise gears will probably win, you just have to compare sales of gears1 and resistance 1. But will it be a better game? Who knows?

Micorsoft exclusive means exclusive to machines running microsoft operating systems. Same as Playstation games appear on Ps3/ps2/psp.
Considering the Ps3 is a nightmare to develop for i find it very hard to belive bedroom coders will warm to it. This sounds like a comeback at xbox's XBLA/XNA.
XNX is much easy and cheaper to develop for and the games are there now, i have 8 on my drive as i write this.
PS3 is a great machine but for small teams of coders its pratically out of reach.
I wasn't really a fan of Resistance. I found its design uninspired and by the numbers although the weapons were very good.
BUT..... i have a feeling the sequel is going to be much better and look forward to the demo.
If it took the 360 18months to sell 10mill according to this then being as the xbox had been out 26months, than it must have sold 7+million in 8months....
This doens't make sense... if it did then it outsold the ps3 in 07.. which apparently it didn't. These figures are a waste of time.

I was thinking of selling my Ps3 at one point. I also use my 360 more and so far have enjoyed the games more on that system but i got the Ps3 knowing that there were going to be great titles coming along in the future.
Theres always games on the opposite system that you will want to play whether you have a 360 or Ps3 so having both consoles is great if you can afford it.
Personnaly i would keep it, a year from now you might be wishing to play MGS or some other title and the Blu...
